Al-Maarij

In the last ten nights of Ramadan, the mosque is used for iktikaf. Coffee, tea bags, sugar and hot boiled water are provided, in case one of jamaah needs refreshment. Unique.
Martabak Bangka
Martabak Bangka near Jalan Mohammad T. Haryono http://goo.gl/maps/dSIEPIf it comes to 'Martabak Manis' or 'terang bulan' as Makassar people call it, the only varian for me is topping cheese. De knows this very well. Sometimes I think she is a little bit annoyed that everybody should agree with my choice.
To be honest, I don't find anything special for this particular Bangka Terang Bulan. It tasted just like any terang bulan I had in Makassar. But no regrets...
